My foundation was built in accounting, FP&A and corporate finance, where every decision eventually has to survive the numbers. From there, the work moved into private equity, investments, portfolio management and wealth planning.
I have worked with reputable organisations, been involved with approximately US$150 million in private-equity funds, and managed the financial side of iconic brands in the UAE. But the most useful lesson came when finance stopped being only about companies and became about people.
“Wealth is rarely just an investment problem. It is a decision problem.”
Financial coaching through difficult periods showed me how quickly good numbers can be undone by poor structure, behaviour or discipline. That experience shaped the way I think today: fundamentals before noise, discipline before speculation, outcomes before products.
